Its that time of year where we see an abundance of pancreatitis and foreign body ingestion! Protect your pet by only offering small and safe treats this Thanksgiving:

Turkey (White meat, NO fat or skin)

Plain Potatoes (NO additives, like butter or cheese)

Sugar Free Cranberry Sauce

Turkey Fat &Skin

Desserts of any kind

Alcohol of any kind

Onions

Garlic

High Sodium Foods

Bird bones of any kind

Leeks

Scallions

Grapes 

Raisins

Chocolate (Especially, dark baker's chocolate)

Uncooked Bread Dough

Remember, this is not an exhaustive list and your pet may have health issues that may or may not affect what he or she can eat. As always, call us if you have any questions! We will be happy to let you know if your cat or dog can have something special this holiday season. 

Just remember: everything in moderation and WATCH your guests to make sure they are not giving Fido or Fluffy anything they shouldn't have!
