It has been almost a month since our last blog post and hospital update! We have been busy here at Lifetime Pet Centers, preparing our new wellness plans for dogs and cats. We are currently working to bring our clients a new way of annual preventative care: an entire year of services at your finger-tips made more affordable with low monthly payments.
Here I would like to outline some of the highlights and features these plans will bring:
- For puppies and kittens: plans will include their first year of vaccines (boosters and everything!), all necessary de-wormings, up to four exams with the doctor, spay or neuter, microchipping, and Feline Leukemia/FIV testing for cats.
- For adult and mature pets: plans will include an Annual Wellness Exam, all necessary vaccinations, blood work appropriate to the age of the pet, intestinal parasite testing, de-worming, and a dental cleaning.
- How the plans will work: To start your pet on a Wellness Plan your cat or dog will be deemed healthy by a veterinarian. At that point, you simply enroll your pet with a one-time fee. We estimate these fees will be anywhere from $75.00 to $100.00 depending on the plan. Once enrolled you can take advantage of ANY of the services listed in the plan. The remainder of the plan price will be paid for in 12 monthly installments.
- Monthly payments will come directly from your bank account via your debit card, or charged to a credit card. You choose! Plans can also be paid for 100% up-front.
- The services in the plans are included at a discount rate, so in the long run you end up paying less for the same services you would have gotten otherwise.
- These plans are not insurance: if your pet becomes ill or needs other services they will be paid for separately from the Wellness Plan. However, depending on the Wellness Plan your pet is enrolled in- you could receive an additional discount anywhere from 5% to 15% on all non-plan services.
- The best benefit: Your pet will receive high-quality, exceptional care from our doctors and staff and you will not have to worry about "the big bill." Great care and easy budgeting!
We believe that Annual Wellness Exams and diagnostics are the most important key to a long and healthy life for your pets. As vaccinations become more spread out as pets age many pet owners believe that exams are not as necessary. But, our doctors can catch and prevent many problems before they cause illness in your furry family members. This saves you money and could save your pet's life.
